One more time...

For one night only, models who have graced the Brave stage over the last 9 years will step back onto the catwalk for a one-off special event to celebrate 30 years of Friends of ANCHOR.

We couldn't let this milestone celebration pass us by without recognising the role that this event has played in the charity's history, raising more than £1.2 million for Friends of ANCHOR and supporting hundreds of people to rebuild confidence following or during treatment.

Time and time again, we hear our former models say how much they would love the chance to step back onto the catwalk and experience that incredible feeling all over again. Well, places everyone...it's happening!

What to expect

For one year only, Brave will take a special format celebrating not only the remarkable people who have taken part over the years, but also the progress that has been made for cancer and haematology treatment and care across the north-east. 

Guests can look forward to a delicious dinner, next-level live entertainment, a carefully selected fashion line-up from some of the region's favourite retailers, and a room bursting with love, cameraderie and joy. 

Attendees can also look forward to a special performance from the Friends of ANCHOR alumni choir, led by well-known local musical director Laura Pike. 64 alumni models have stepped forward to lend their voice for a special performance at each one of the shows across event weekend.   

Since 2013, 486 people have courageously stepped forward to be a part of both Brave and Courage on the Catwalk. Each person who has stepped onto the catwalk is considered part of the model alumni family, even those who are sadly no longer with us. Across all four shows, there will be a moment to remember and honour each model who has passed away.

Will there be an application process this year?
Due to the special format of Brave 2027 welcoming back our model alumni family, we won't be opening an application process to the public. We understand that this may cause disappointment for some people wishing to apply, however if you'd like for us to keep your details on file for 2028, please get in touch!

All admin costs are fully funded by Balmoral Group

We are in the unique position that every penny of your pounds raised goes directly to the cause. No costs deducted for the fundraising team salaries. Nor for any administration costs. Neither is there a percentage taken from your donation for the running costs involved in operating the fundraising office.

Since the charity was founded in 1997, every penny of these running and administration costs have been fully covered by Balmoral Group. With all these expenses taken care of, your money is freed up to make a direct difference in the lives of  cancer and haematology patients throughout the North-east of Scotland.
