Ride the North 2021
Join us for a day of stunning Scottish cycling as Ride the North 2021 transforms into a one-day event.
Ride the North
Calling all keen cyclists!
Public entries for this year's Ride the North event have closed, but we have exclusive charity spaces available. The one-day event will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, beginning and ending in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Participants can choose from three different route options: 100km, 140km or 180km.
Two options for sign up are available: you can sign up individually and pay a £37 entry fee (same cost for all three routes). With this option, there is no obligation on fundraise but you are invited to join the FoA cycle team and be involved in the weekly motivational emails before the event, and any meet-ups before the cycle. If you would like to cycle in aid of the charity, we'd love to gift your space in return for a minimum fundraising pledge of £250.
This is an additional event that will run in tandem with Ride the North. The organisers have pulled together a fantastic list of cycling routes that can be enjoyed around the North-east, with 'points' for completion.
By signing up and paying £20 to be part of this challenge, you can be part of the cycling community striving to bag the bronze, silver and gold challenge levels. If you've already registered to take part in the full Ride the North challenge, simply log in to your Ride the North account and select the ‘Pay RtN 153’ option.
If you're signing up to RtN153 only, you can register by tapping the button below.
Once registered directly with the Ride the North team, you’ll be sent an email with registration documents and you’ll have access to a website where you can tick off the routes and add up your scores.
All that's left to do is enjoy a summer of sun and cycling around the North-east!
