Ride the North

Ride the North is back for 2025, and we have spaces available!

This year, cyclists will set off from Glamis Castle, near Forfar, and can pick between two routes - 150km (93 miles) or 110km (68 miles). 

Ride the North is a non-competitive event, which can be tackled solo or with a group. It's a supported ride, with mechanical support and support vehicles, signposting, lunches, mobile coffee stops, refreshments and luggage transfer.

Every penny counts

All admin costs are fully funded by Balmoral Group

We are in the unique position that every penny of your pounds raised goes directly to the cause. No costs deducted for the fundraising team salaries. Nor for any administration costs. Neither is there a percentage taken from your donation for the running costs involved in operating the fundraising office.

Since the charity was founded in 1997, every penny of these running and administration costs have been fully covered by Balmoral Group. With all these expenses taken care of, your money is freed up to make a direct difference in the lives of  cancer and haematology patients throughout the North-east of Scotland.
