What to expect...

We have partnered with the clinical teams in the ANCHOR Day Treatment department and Radiotherapy department to produce these introductory films on what to expect when you visit Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for chemotherapy or intravenous infusions, or if radiotherapy is part of your treatment plan.

Beginning chemotherapy

This short video is a virtual introduction to the Outpatient and Day Treatment Department within the ANCHOR Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where you may attend if chemotherapy or intraveneous infusions are part of your treatment plan.

Please note this video will not replace your pre-assessment appointment with your medical team, which will go ahead as planned.

Watch for a tour of the treatment area, how to find the department, and FAQs.
