22 years of 'driving' change
Now in its 23rd year, our Golf Event is our longest running annual fundraiser, welcoming over 150 players each year to take part in what has been called “the greatest golf outing in the North East”.
The legacy to date...
Last year's event raised a phenomenal £147,000 - a sum that's affecting positive change long after the clubs have been packed away.
Event impact through the years...
2024 saw £147k raised, supporting our SURE appeal with UCAN to speed up urological cancer diagnosis
2023 With £137k raised, our 2023 event will fund a year's worth of wellbeing support in The ANCHOR Centre
2022 the £90k raised directly supported our wellbeing services delivered daily in the ANCHOR Unit

The Casual Edit
Four-ball and clubhouse dinner
Four-ball bookings are now open for the brand new addition to our annual golf outing.
The Casual Edit keeps things relaxed, with golfers invited to make Peterculter Golf Club their base for the day and into the evening.
Golfers will choose a tee time between 2pm and 3.30pm, and we'll provide full hospitality throughout your visit, with a pre-competition lunch roll, a pie and a nip of whisky at the halfway house, and beers and a clubhouse supper on arrival back to the clubhouse.

The Formal Edit
Four-ball and gala dinner at The Chester
Golfers who've been to our annual outing previously will recognise all the luxuries of our Formal Edit.
Golf teams will tee off between 7.30am and 12.30pm, with a hot breakfast roll to get you fuelled up for your round.
There's a full barbecue lunch at the halfway house, and refreshments around the course on the day too.
After your game of golf, you'll head home or back to base to get your gladrags on, before joining us at The Chester Hotel for a gala dinner complete with five-star entertainment, a three-course meal, prizegiving and highly charged live auction – hosted by our inimitable compere Alex Fleming.

All admin costs are funded by Balmoral Group
We are in the unique position that every penny of your pounds raised goes directly to the cause. No costs deducted for the fundraising team salaries. Nor for any administration costs. Neither is there a percentage taken from your donation for the costs involved in operating the fundraising office.
Since the charity was founded in 1997, Balmoral Group has taken care of the admin overheads and fundraising salaries. With these expenses taken care of, your money is freed up to make a direct and positive impact for patients.
